The location is high above Dubuque overlooking the city and the Mississippi River. The bed was comfortable, the room was spotlessly clean. Simon was a great host and explained things well! The breakfast was excellent and Simon our host answered questions about the Hanson House and its history. A great find!
The breakfast was included with the room and was exceptional. All the guests sat together around a table that was vintage and got a great explanation of the history of the house
The house offers fantastic sunrise views from the porch, and the rich history of the property has been maintained very well. The room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. Simon was very nice and clearly takes pride in his property.
A beautiful old house up on the hill overlooking the city, there is a big porch with swings and chairs to take in the view. Our room was clean and pretty and comfortable, with a nice bathroom and a lovely little sitting nook with an amazing view across the city and the river out of huge windows. The breakfasts were delicious and the hosting very gracious.
It was a fun and historic location with great views from the bluff and walking access to downtown.
